Sylvain Aubry

Dr. Sylvain Aubry. Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG).
Sylvain Aubry studied molecular plant physiology and agronomy at the University of Rennes (France) and Zurich (Switzerland). He performed research for about ten years, mostly in Biochemistry of photosynthesis in UK (University of Cambridge) and Switzerland (University of Zurich). Recently, he joined the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture and brings his expertise in the fields of biotechnology, policy and risk assessment.

Michael Beer

Dr. Michael Beer. Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO).
Dr. Michael Beer is the vice director of the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) and head of the food and nutrition department in Switzerland. He studied at the ETH Zurich food engineering and also completed his Ph.D. in nutrition there.

Eva-Gelinsky

Dr. Eva Gelinsky. ProSpecieRara, Initiative for GE-free Seed and Breeding, Federal Ethics Committee on Non-Human Biotechnology (ECNH).
Dr. Eva Gelinsky is a scientific advisor at ProSpecieRara, a Swiss non-profit organisation with the aim to save endangered livestock breeds and rare cultivated plants from extinction. She is a staff member of the Initiative for GE-free Seed and Breeding (IG Saatgut) and member of the Federal Ethics Committee on Non-Human Biotechnology (ECNH).

Jochen Koester. AgroTrace, Industry Association Food without Genetic Engineering (VLOG), ProTerra
Jochen Koester is president of AgroTrace, board member of VLOG (Industry Association Food without Genetic Engineering) and the ProTerra Foundation. He is a consultant and author on EU regulations on mandatory GMO labelling as well as on national provision of voluntary GMO-free claims.

Anne-Gabrielle Wust-Saucy. Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).
Anne-Gabrielle Wust-Saucy is head of the biotechnology section of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) in Switzerland. Mrs. Wust-Saucy and her section are amongst other things responsible for the development and implementation of environmental regulations in the area of biotechnology and gene technology.

Amadeus Zschunke is director of Sativa Rheinau AG. Sativa Rheinau AG plays a leading role in the breeding, production and sale of biological seeds. There, new breads for the organic farming are developed and old seed breeds sustained.
